NFS: The Run 2
So I'm not sure how many of you have or haven't played this very specific game from the franchise, but I just want to put my message out there for everyone on here to see.
I have probably replayed this game like 4 or 5 times over the course of these 14 years that it's been out for now and I would honestly say that this game deserves a sequel. It stands out from other games in the franchise for its unique approach and straying away from the typical open-world and making it into a story driven movie like race. Everything from the concept of a huge race that include over 250 individual drivers that attempt to race from San Francisco all the way to New York and with each stop some of the racers that get eliminated, slowly chipping away at the numbers of which can win the run, to some of the best OST's I've heard being composed the way so that it would feel like you're just barely going to make it when racing against time in the timed races.
As a huge fan of this specific game, I feel the need (for speed) to make this post so that word gets out and maybe someone from higher up will see this and consider this a viable idea. I loved every second of the run and hope that it gets to see the light of day by getting a second iteration. Loved the way it ends as well, finishing the race on the docks of New York flying through placed containers and at the very end the camera displays the location of where it ends (40.706732, -73.972912). In The Run you get to race against other racers, "make up time" to catch up and race against rivals (in other words known racers) so as an idea that just popped up randomly, why not add the classic M3 GTR as one of the rivals to beat it's stuck around for pretty much every NFS title why not do it again?
Enough ranting from me, I hope this reaches a wider audience in the upcoming whatever days weeks months or years, I will be waiting to hopefully see The Second Run.
