No sound after connecting to EA servers

Hi,

I'm am having a lot of trouble with this game. I have volume for the intro, then it prompts me to continue and says "signing into EA servers", then when I get to the main menu, no volume. I've checked the volume mixer on my PC and the game is not muted, I've repaired the game in Origin, and I've updated my GPU and sound drivers and it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me?

    Hey Barry,

    Thanks for your response. I've since managed to fix the problem. My headphones are strange in the fact that you cannot use the mic and listen to game sound at the same time, so when the mic is enabled, sound is disabled. Once my game was connecting to the EA servers, it was defaulting to using my headphones as a mic instead of as headphones, so I went into my Windows Sound settings and disabled my mic and the volume returned. For anyone struggling with the same problem, I'd suggest turning off your mic and seeing if that helps!
