On-screen message won't disappear

Try going to the Controls Menu in Gameplay Settings to configure the controller.

I did. Didn't seem to work; either in configuring or removing the message. Also, if the controller works doesn't that mean it's already configured adequately and therefore the message is not needed?

So I've been through every control and set them all up and that message is still there.

Not happy.

Well I guess it's a good job I got this through Amazon Prime Gaming as, if I'd paid for it, I'd've been requesting a refund by now with no solution to something that should have been picked up much sooner than this. 😒

Yeah if only this * game made it that easy
