Online Live Portal

Does someone remember NFS Networks - Online Portal, where we could see in a browser at all times, what others(Friends) achievements are on the easy layout in web page. 
It was the coolest thing that I liked about older NFS, but it appears that this has been abandoned in newer NFS games. 
Did someone ever notice this or questioned that if such a platform can be available again? 

Can we ask EA to open or consider such a web portal again for NFS racers?
