Out raced by lower spec' d cars

anyone else find that you are out raced on black ridge by lower tiered cars, i've fully Spec'd my ccx with 6 tuning points and cannot for the life of me out accelerate a viper or 650?? all the effort to fully upgrade seems massively pointless if i can't beat cars 2 tiers below?

    Hi brother, I do not agree with you. I hope to give you more useful information as you can. I use the Mclaren 650S for 8 seasons, now I'm 8 PT. I can also be competitive with Ferrari LAFerrari + Tuning. You have to memorize every single track, search for info on Google, on Youtube, and see the driving style for each track. I can assure you that a 650S can close the season in the top 50. I'll show you some screenshots;

    hey bro 🙂 good answer but that still makes it pretty pointless using the top tiered cars or is it just me? 🙂 my gtr does very well and is very close to the times i can get in the ccx, it feels way to close to be worth upgrading all the way on high end cars

    🙂

    Do you have 6 PT right? Use CCX and enter 4 PT on the "Acceleration" value and 2 PT on the "NITRO" value. Always make "Great Start" and use the nitro only on the straight line, not in the curves.

    hi yeah always use that, even with perfect starts i find it very difficult to race the mclaren and viper, other ccx cars i'm ok with 🙂

    That's why I stopped racing in BBR.

    It was just making me angry. Every day.

    Eventually I decided to stop racing BBR. After all, I'm supposed to be enjoying this game.

    Oh, yeah, and I was using a fully tuned McLaren.

    Yes, CCX cannot out accelerate these cars because it has comparable (Viper: 12254 vs 12079) or worse acceleration (650s: 12254 vs 12679). However you can out run these cars on longer/straighter tracks. Tune your car 0,4,2 i.e. assign all tuning points to acceleration, then nitro, then top speed, in that order.

    I repeat what I said earlier, a McLaren 650s with 7 PT can quietly end the championship in the top 50. You have to know how to drive well!
