pause

Why in need for speed rivals is there no pause even in single player. I was racing and my mom called so i had to stop but i cant pause so i lost the race and got busted and lost all my speed points b...

Since you are basically always online together with other players, thanks to AllDrive, there is no pause functionality during races or while driving in the open world. The only way to pause the game is by entering a hideout or command post.

You can, however, play the game in offline mode completely, but you will probably miss out on a lot of fun created by all these random events when multiple players, racer and cops, are thrown together.

    I can't believe they didn't add a pause feature for those of us that play offline. I can't even play in offline mode because of the texture glitch that is being reported by many. I have a family, and if I am racing and need to pause for any reason, when I am NOT playing online, I should be able to do that. I heard from my phone conversation with EA that the Xbox One can "pause" the game by task switching and saving the game state. Please, please add a pause feature for offline gamers!
