Answers:
1) I've already Repaired/Verified the game files before posting on this forum. I even uninstalled/reinstalled the game - no change.
2) I cleared the EA App cache - no change.
3) Connection and Advanced Connection Guides yielded no relevant results. My internet connection is most definitely not the issue.
4) Other background applications have no effect. Just to reinterate, I've been playing the game fine until in-game purchases suddenly stopped working.
5) System File Checker yielded no results
6) Sorry, but running the system in Safe Mode is not an option. I am playing other games using the EA App with no problems. And I do not have any new or different background apps running compared to when the game was working fine. This issue is most likely on the server side, not the end-user side. Can you please verify whether the NFS Payback Server is fully operational?
Edit: Additional troubleshooting steps and results:
1) Manually disconnected from the internet after launching the game and then trying to make a car purchase - same problem.
2) Tried a few different cars in the dealership and discovered that the problem is only affecting certain cars.
3) Tried to purchase the same problematic cars in a different dealership, and the problem persists across multiple dealerships.
Conclusion: Something is bugged with specific vehicles in the game.
FYI: I am not running mods and I am currently playing in single-player story campaign mode, which means that not all cars have been unlocked for purchase yet. The bugged cars are ones that I should already have access to based on where I am at in the story (This is not my first playthrough of this game). So it is unknown how many other cars are bugged.
Question: Is it possible that my save file is corrupted?
