PC: Error Code 80040000 upon trying to access multiplayer mode

Hello,

• I'm getting an error code 80040000 every time I try to access multiplayer mode on this game. This issue just started today 2015-08-21 (11pm)
• I've tried to reconnect multiple times with no success.
• I've never had this error occur as long as I've owned the game (since it was released in 2012).
• The only change I've made to my computer is installing a new USB headset.

A friend of mine who also plays the game is now getting the same error.

I've been able to connect to Rivals multiplayer just fine. Only Most Wanted 2012 seems to be affected.
