PC Friends for Overwatch

You don't need friends to play it actually. If you start up the game and join a lobby, once Overwatch registers you're online you can use the play overwatch on yourself and within a few seconds, the five other players in your lobby should pop up on the map.

I'm playing this on the web browser at work. Does that make a difference?

well, no - it's the same funtcion but you can't play overwatch if you don't have any friends online if you're offline yourself.

I'm online on NFS Network. Sorry bout this mate. I am new to the game and its functions and features. I basically want to help racers and cops on Overwatch and play whilst I am at work (only because I love the game and also want to keep ranking up :P). I am assuming I need friends for this?
