[PC] Game wont save Progress - FIX

So I bought this game on Friday... and had the same issue as many here.

I checked C:\Users\Documents, and low and behold, the NFS Heat directory did not exist. Therefore my game would not save locally. So upon closing the game, I lost all my progress.

After some poking around it seems the installer IGNORES the error which occurs during setup, with out notifying the user of the error.

That error:  The inability to create a required folder in My Documents on Windows 10 PCs due to Ransomware protection built into Windows Defender.

Even manually creating the folder, and the folder tree, will not fix the issue. 

You must DISABLE Ransomware protection in Windows Defender, and then RE-INSTALL the game.

Otherwise the game wont save locally, and can also lead to corrupted cloud saves.

Theres two glaring issues here:

1) This game puts potentially thousands of people at risk due to being forced to disable a key component in system security, in order to play the game as intended
2) This game fails to notify the end user of the installation error. Id hazard a guess and say this was a problem during testing, but somebody turned off/disabled the error during setup, and then forgot to turn it back on later, leading us to where we are now.

If Ransomware is disabled/turned off on your computer for other reasons, you wont have this problem

To access Windows Defender Ransomware protection:
Start> PC Settings> Update & Security> Windows Security> Virus & Threat Protection> Ransomware Protection - Turn OFF

I installed this game 4x. 

The original time, which gave me a game that wouldn't save
The second time Ransomware disabled - Game saves
The 3rd time, Ransomware enabled - Game wont save
The 4th time, Ransomware disabled - game save   *I am here.*

Remember, you can Alt-Tab out of the game and copy over your save to a back up location while the game is still running, That is what I have done through out this process to protect my game.
