DICE TeamThanks for the reply. I have yet to try it out but the weirdest part about this problem is the fact that the game boots fine on my personal rig but has the problem on my laptop. I think it might have something to do with the way I've stored the game however. On my personal rig I've got it installed on an internal HDD that runs, iirc, at 7200rpm. My laptop was all-round perfect for my architecture course except for the storage which is only a mere 256GB on an internal SSD, so I bought a 4TB external HDD for it when I bought the laptop. It has worked fine right after launch, same as the 2 titles before it, but after a couple of weeks I took a break from Heat during which Ghost updated the game and now it won't let me get past the intro screen, except for when I play the game on my PC. I'm definitely gonna try the tips you gave to hopefully get it running on both systems but I feel like it for some unknown reason has to do with the slower than normal drive that I've got it installed on, my 4TB external HDD.
