[PC]Can't Accelerate, Handbrake Stuck, Controller Doesn't Work

I also had the same problem, it started out as just the speed limited to around 60 and then it changed to accelerator stuck and no way to stop acceleration. Tried disconnecting every input device except the keyboard and mouse, and I even tried remapping to switch throttle for brake, which would seem to me to indicate that if it was a stuck controller or key it would make the brake stuck after the change. I don't think any remapping of controls is going to fix it.

Yes! I was about to give up on this, and the answer is so simple! Move accelerator dead zone to the middle in the sensitivity settings. This fixed both my accelerator being stuck and the car not being able to go above 60 or so mph. THANK YOU!

• I had the same problem and could solve it now.
  Try checking controller > tuning and make sure that the sliders are in the middle position. For me all of them were completely turned down for some reason.  

  I don't know why this even affects keyboard controls, but it does. Hope it works for you guys too.

• I was playing around last night, and found that if you go into your controller settings (on NFS game) and un map every command for all other devices (keyboard & steering wheel) you can then play the game fine using your controller. I'm using dualshock 4, and this worked for me. Also make sure to turn up your sensitivities, while leaving your dead zones turned down.

Tried setting all to mid, makes the car go in reverse automatically instead.

(toggling the reverse settings on gamepad/wheel changes nothing here either, it just keeps going in reverse).

Have another problem.

I have the XBOX ONE S Controller with last firmware, connected via Bluetooth.

And problem is my X button works like Game Menu button(Phone). But X button is also handbrake, so i can't use handbrake.

I bind handbrake on A and Nitrous on left bumper, but what happens and what to do to fix this problem? Everything is fine in other games.
I also have keyboard\mouse icons in game, instead of gamepad controls.

Why game has problems with gamepad that officially supported and it's image used in game for controls map? Any chance to patch for game?

i kind of have the same issue with the g27, but it won let me accelerate AT ALL, tryed everything, nothing works, i can drive while holding W and steer with the steering wheel, but the thrust and brake peddles wont work, i cant even map them in the options menu.

g27 works perfectly fine with need for speed pro street
