playing Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005) with .iso

Question

my new Laptop hasn't a built in DVD-Drive.
From my original CD I made an .iso, from which I installed the game on my laptop.
But as soon as I want to start the game, an error saying I need the original CD inserted occurs.

Is there any possibiity to play the game with that .iso?

Yes, you can redeem your Product Code in Origin and then play without your original disc:

it doesn't accept it, and I can't find the game in Origin (I am talking about the 2005 version, not the newer 2015 one)

the responsible employee told me, that due to its age the game can't be integrated in origin, so there seems to be no way, I can play the old version without an DVD-Drive.

I can fully understand the conclusion he gave my, though I think it is a little pity because I loved that game 🙂
