It is highly unlikely that this game will get anymore updates, not just because Ghost Games' named has changed, but because this game royally failed financially.
As I've said, EA will Not hesitate to pull the plug on a failed project.

Yyyep.
2 months for the first update, no new content until the second update, which was only a couple of cars, and no additions to the storyline. They can't say virus, because in 2020: The Crew 2 put out 2 updates, Aura Kingdom put out an update and is soon to put out a second update, and Kritika put out a update, and those are just the games that I know of.
This game never had a chance.
Edit ^. First update was 2 months, second one (4 months) actually mattered, somewhat.

I have no idea; well on second thought: Greed.
The only game that actually managed to last past the 4 year mark was World, and that was probably, because that was a MMO racer. All other games after this point have been blatant cash grabs: NFS 2015 - NFS Payback - NFS Heat. All, going by track record, meant to grab quick cash before updates are discontinued after 6 months or less.
Ever notice that each of these 3 NFS games had some sort of flaw?
I suspect, and this is just my opinion, that it's a carrot on a stick, roping players into thinking that maybe the next NFS will be better; which will, no doubt based on the track record, be a disappointment.
