Lost all of my progress once I turned my PlayStation off. I can see the data saved, but once I open the game it restarts completely and I have none of my progress. No cars, levels, or money.
Just today I went to play online and boom I had nothing all my cars money and car parts gone all I had was my level
For anybody on PC, I'd have your Documents folder in something like Dropbox or other cloud backup with file history. NFS randomly deletes the "1" save file out of your documents and replaces it with 1_tmp. This "tmp" file never actually saves or loads anything, basically resetting your progress. Everytime now I have it set so a notification pops up when the game deletes the file, then I quit and reload the file from right before it was deleted. It then will work for maybe 4 - 6 hours of gameplay until it does it again.
(I know OP is on PS4 but I wonder if the game is doing something similar on console).
- @Kenzie1402 I rebuilded my Ps4 data base and after it showed me the progress but when I entered just took me to the start.After I contacted them about this issue,they said there is no way to recover the progress back and you have to start from zero
