Purchase a second CD Key for Hot Pursuit

I bought Hot Pursuit on Steam awhile back and when it came time to enter the serial key for multiplayer, I made an error and now the original game's CD Key is locked to an invalid email. I've purchased the game twice for PS3, once for xbox and twice for PC.

I've bought again in hopes to use the CD key, but Steam will not allow me to install the new copy as it says I already own Hot Pursuit, which is locked to a false email and has an unusable CD Key.

As I love this game very much and have nothing but joyful and warm gaming experiences with Electronic Arts I was wondering is there a minumum number of times that you must purchase your games before they have a version that works online?

I'm happy to purchase 2 or 3 more copies if that is what's required. I'm basically hoping to get a new CD Key. (Or purchase if that is what you command)

Waiting patiently with LOT'S more money to spend on your games....
