Therefore, what is it I'm actually not doing right? People say upgrade the car but I can't as it's a Police car/cop car these can't be upgraded. I have all these cars on the video and many more.

When you see cars doing 300+ , that is in KPH not MPH. Factor in the differences in measurement and it should become obvious heh 🙂

One possibility is that at earlier levels you have achieved good time, earning gold,silver, or bronze. Then later on when you need to Gold an event, you are not able to beat your own time. So early in the game you should be driving just good enough to log a time so later in the game you can better your time.

If you're not crashing or getting time penalties and staying on course you should be able to Gold and event. Keep in mind Hard events are hard, you need to be a good driver and have a fast car, one with good acceleration.

That's all I can think of at this time.
