Re: best techniques for a perfect start

It's different for every car in the game.

Some cars rev up really fast while some cars rev up really slow. You'll have to adjust for each car accordingly.

Since you're asking about how to get a Perfect Launch for Blackridge Rivals races, I'll use Koenigsegg CCX and Ferrari LaFerrari as examples.

To get a Perfect Launch, do these steps:

1. Hold down the throttle.

2. When the "1" has completely disappeared, let go of the throttle.

3. Voila! You got Perfect Launch.

It works almost every time.

Practice getting Perfect Launches when you're farming for stuff in Campaign to prepare you for Blackridge Rivals.

    @TheRealJony, thats the sort of trick i was looking for, i've tried quite a few things whilst farming for parts but cant quite find the right technique

    @TheRealJony thanks a lot, thats really helped, it took a bit of practice but can get it at least 9 out of 10 times, so much so ive managed to drag back nearly 500 points on blackridge rivals yesterday and am now up on the leaderboard

  • I can't be arsed with the bloody thing, need a top car man. Only race them for the scroogey 2 gold.

    Does it also vary depending on the PR of the car? This is something I've wondered about for a while now but have never really been able to check for sure as i'm always switching around between cars.  It feels like when you first get a car and it's got only basic parts in it, it revs relatively slowly making the start pretty easy but when you've got a load of decent parts in it, the revs are more sensitive making the perfect launch more difficult. Am I making things up or does this actually happen?

    @eI-nombre Yea, it actually happens.

    The more upgrades you apply to a car, the faster it revs.

    Say there's two Nissan Silvia (S15) Spec Rs with 305 PR and 655 PR.

    The 305 PR one would rev up slowly while the 655 PR one would rev up quickly.
