Note that I currently cannot give you specific troubleshooting because I don't know which platform you are on. But it would be helpful for you to know that this error message is caused by settings on either your system or network that are blocking the connection to the Autolog servers. Think of a firewall that is enabled on your router or an anti-virus program on your PC system--make sure that you've allowed Need for Speed access in these programs.
