Re: Car is very slow. Won't go past 2nd Gear...

If you're using an xbox controller, try uninstalling the drivers and allowing Windows to reinstall them. Or roll back to an older or previous driver. These steps worked for me. And I use a PS4 controller with the aid of DS4Windows.
