I'm so used to using down on the right stick to upshift, the fact that I have to play with it the other way was frustrating me so much that I'm playing with auto transmission at the moment. ☹️

- Although my preferences are a little different (B to up shift and X to down shift), I too would like custom controller mapping for NFS Payback. It’s so unfortunate that we’re forced to choose between 2 unpopular presets. Game is completely unplayable for me until they fix it.
Not just console version , on a freaking pc too the manual shifting preset are no good , the one who came up with this preset needs to be fired because this person never plays racing games . for me always in ALL racing games shift up and down needs to be A and X
- I actually wound up purchasing the PC version, as I was hoping there would be a better chance of customizing the controls. Turns out I was wrong. Regardless, I agree that we should be allowed to set up custom controls for BOTH PC AND CONSOLE.
