Honestly, I'm ok with some of the 'odd' swaps
a 4.7 low revving V8 in the A45 AMG which makes the most power

Mclaren V8 in the new civic and a few other things

Flat 6 in a few things

Ferrari V8 in the E46

The only problem I have with the GTR 3.8 V6 is that it sounds terrible like the ecoboost aswell

LamboV10/V12 in the Audi RS5 (that I get)

although there does seem to be a lack of engines for over ~1200 HP

There really is a lack of power and power rating with all the other blocks. Being able to decide between a really extravagant swap and the stock engine without a detriment to power would be the ultimate customization that NFS is known for. I dont want them to remove the swaps, but rather add one that appear to fans of the original car and power plant
