Re: How do i make a custom soundtrack?

i believe it is similar to most wanted. you have to create a playlist of the songs you want, name it racing or something...then select that playlist to play instead of the installed music.

That is how Most Wanted worked. And before it worked for me.

Transfer music to your systems hard drive from a flash drive.

Create a playlist on your system and name it racing

In the games settings tell it to play the racing playlist instead of games default soundtrack.

I haven't been able to get this to work. I'm on a ps4, it won't recognize my ipod, or even a cd, I tried downloading spotify but can't find how to use it in game. The soundtrack on this game blows! I've been turning the music off and playing my ipod through some speakers behind me with the game sounds playing through my surround sound. But it would be better if I could use my playlists in game.

That didn't work for me either, but I figured it out. Here's what you do....

Download Spotify from the psn store

Save a bunch of songs, albums, playlists etc (I highly recommend the Slayer playlist \m/)

Quit Spotify and load the game

When you get to the garage, go to the menu to turn the music all the way down

Hold the ps button down to bring up the menu

Go down to music, then right on the control pad

It will say something like "You must allow the psn to see your playlist to something something"

Go down til it says sign in to psn or whatever it says and sign in. Idk if that's necessary, but that's what I did

Then go right on your music and pick where you want it to start playing

The music will start, so hit the ps button to return to the game, with your music playing

    Drive and jam!

You'll have to listen to a commercial once in a while, and the engine drowns out the music a bit, but it works. I haven't found a music volume menu.

I found the volume control. It's in the ps menu where the play/rewind/ff panel is.
