There is no "mute microphone" option in the game at the moment, but you actually can mute other players. Open EasyDrive, then open player list and you can mute every person manually.

I hope they'll add voice chat options soon. It's a bit annoying that I can't talk to my friends in Skype/TeamSpeak because other players will hear my voice in the game...

    yeah i just tell them to mute me if they dont want to hear me talking to people on my teamspeak there really needs to be an option to disable voice chat in and out bound
