Re: Hunter races are way to difficult

Not me.

Hunter races are the hardest races in No Limits, but even then they're still too easy for me.

Let me guess. You're having trouble with Chapter 4: Event 4 Hunter race? Am I right?

If so, you're not alone. Many people (excluding me) are having issues winning this particular Hunter race.

Yea thats right. Fastlane chapter 4 race 4. Now I cant continue at chapter 5 race 4. Even if i get past this one. I hope the other 2 hunter races arent that hard. Do you have any specific way to drive? I try to drift as much as possible close to the corners to get nitro boost.

@MrMortek These are what I do when racing:

    1. I use Nitrous frequently

    2. I drift very slightly to maintain speed while gaining Nitrous at the same time. I only drift sharply whenever it's a sharp corner.

    3. I would attempt to pass my opponents on the inside when catching up.

    4. If I'm going very fast, then I would attempt to pass my opponents on the outside.

Try doing these to win these Hunter races.

By the way, the Hunter races after Chapter 5: Event 4 Hunter race are much "easier" in terms of track length.

    Good luck!

Don't feel bad about it. The whole event is rigged so you have to spend gold or you won't get the car. Just refuse to pay to these greedy holes 😉

@Kapucinus Count me as one of those players that doesn't need to spend Gold to get the Nissan 180SX Type X. 😉

I only spent Gold on 40 Nissan 180SX Type X blueprints because I want to have a Stage 6 Nissan 180SX Type X.

@hampo3 Here's some tips to help you on those pesky Hunter races:

    1. Use Nitrous frequently

    2. Drift very slightly to maintain speed while gaining Nitrous at the same time. Only drift sharply if you have to.

    3. Pass your opponents on the inside. It's useless trying to pass on the outside.

    4. If going fast enough, then it's possible to pass your opponents on the outside.

Well, everybody know that the game become "the most gold, the best cars", all the SE still the same as always, if you want the car you need to spend gold, if you don't want to spend gold is totally useless start the event, LET IT GO, as soon as you started it you fell you can make it, but it's totally impossible without gold, the last SE for R34 and this need the car to be at least 5* and have 2-3 blue parts to been able to catch the opponent on Hunter races.

@TheRealJony I totally believe you can progress the game in Underground, Car Series and Tournaments without spending gold as you already proved to us, but cannot believe you can win a SE car without gold, particularly in this SE if you don't spent gold you cannot raise the 5* that's necessary to finish all the races, I finished it with 5* car and 3 blue parts with 547PR, spent 5 tickets on Ch4 Hunter race and 3 on the Ch5, those was the most difficult races on the SE, last race was easy as hell.

    Happy racing!!

My point exactly. If you spend enough to have a 6x car the event is a walk in the park. If you refuse to spend that kind of money you won't be able to do it. What is this if not p2w?

@peniastall When did you first started playing No Limits?

The first two Special Events (Snoop Dogg and Return of Razor) required no Gold to get these cars. There were Special Event classic crates and premium crates, plus people could get 25 free Classic crates during the duration of those special events. Also, performance parts could be won from special event races.

I'll make sure to prove you wrong on the second Fastlane special event. 😉

Hopefully the second Fastlane special event has two "Extreme" Hunter races so it'll help my case even more.

I'll attempt to complete everything except the last race in Chapter 5 without spending Gold on blueprints. I'll spend Gold on blueprints when I do reach the last race in Chapter 5.

The meme is for you. 😛

    @Kapucinus Alright, English lesson time.

There's a difference between "need" and "want".

Need is something you have to do or something that's required to do, like how you used "have" in your previous post.

Want is something you don't have to do or something that's not required to do. You do it on your own free will.

I even bolded "need" and "want" to distinguish the differences, yet there's still some confusion between the two.

I could have completed the first Fastlane special event without spending Gold if I wanted to, but I wanted to have a Stage 6 Nissan 180SX Type X. So I bought 40 blueprints for 2,600 Gold.

    See the difference now?

  • @peniastall I finished the event with PR46x, 4* car and 4* parts and it was more than enough. While I bought 5 Bps on day 4, during whole day 5 I was in exactly the same situation as anyone without gold (the only difference was 10/20 instead of 5/20 in blueprints). And I've spent NO GOLD on either skipping races or buying materials and/or parts. Therefore I still think this SE (and every other I remember) was makable without paying gold. You end up with a car that may take months or years to max out, since you haven't all the blueprints, but I still don't feel like paying thousands of gold for getting maxed out weak classic sport...
