If Origin is running, close it by clicking Origin in the menu bar then Exit. ...
Hold the Windows key + R.
In the command box that opens, type %ProgramData%/Origin then click OK.
Delete all the files and folders inside it EXCEPT for LocalContent!
Launch game & have "fun".
Anyone else experiencing this here is what worked for me:
- close everything (EA app, origin, NFS)
- launch the game as administrator
got it to launch by going to the folder where ea play is installed, and i set every exe in that folder to "run as admintrator"
then i opened the game from steam, then allowed all the admin popups and then it was able to open.
originally i tried just running ea app as admin but it didnt work and it would require itself to close and turn on again at that time it doesnt have admin any more, so when you set it to admin in the app's properties and run the game you will see 2 pop ups require admin premissions. anyways the game works for me now i suggest you try this.
you may have to go to task manager and end all EA processes before you try this
