@quinndammit Had de same problem. When launching the game, click alt+enter. Then wait 2-3s, click alt+enter again and wait 10s(a NFS logo should appear in the bottom right). Repeat till the game decides to load the initial screen.
Worked for me. Hope you solve your issue.
