Sounds like the product you have downloaded is not a legitimate product.
Please read the following information carefully.
"Pirated" EA software is any unauthorized copy of an EA game whether it is on a disk or downloaded or copied directly to a computer or standalone game console.
Pirated copies of EA games often have telling characteristics that indicate the product is not an authorized or authentic copy:
- The disk has low quality printing or is labeled with a sticker or paper label instead of artwork printed directly on the disk.
- The disk has no artwork or just ink handwriting
- The disk or packaging does not have any EA logos
- The disk is packaged in a plastic baggy
- The manual is in poor quality print or missing entirely
If you suspect that you have purchased or acquired a pirated EA game or would like to report suspected piracy of EA products you may provide information directly to the EA anti-piracy team or to the Entertainment Software Association ("ESA").
To report suspected piracy directly to EA please email us at piracy@ea.com.
To report suspected entertainment software piracy to the ESA or for more information on piracy issues in the videogame industry please visit the ESA website at www.theESA.com.
EA devotes substantial time and resources in the fight against software piracy and evaluates all potential leads. EA's anti-piracy work includes supporting law enforcement agencies around the world in their pursuit against enterprises and individuals engaged in piracy.
EA is able to assist customers with support and warranty only on authorized, legitimate product. EA does not exchange pirated software for authentic software.
