Re: Need support for Logitech G27 wheel

I have already used the x360ce emulator for tricking the program into thinking my G27 is an xbox controller. I even remapped the buttons, steering and pedal axis. Yes it works.......very poorly. I have used it before for the Activision Blur racing game. It sucks there too. There is too much latency for it to perform well. If you read one of my previous posts in this forum I also mention that it tends to corrupt the profiler causing other games to not function properly. I had to reboot to clear memory etc. Don't forget that when you record the steering wheel axis to turn right instead of left otherwise the steering wheel will turn the car the opposite direction. Well the x360ce works fine for me, got all the buttons where i want them and i can live with a little delay. I rather use G27 with some small delay than a keyboard.
I havn't tried to play another game after though so i don't know if it messes up my settings.

Yes it works......and you can remap buttons, pedals, steering etc. This is not a solution. It is a hack. And the more people that think that this works ok will make AE believe that you have solved a problem for them so don't make it sound like it's ok because it is not ok. You should be calling for AE to fix this problem so that the wheel, pedals and buttons work the way they are suppose to work right out of the box.
