Re: NFS Most wanted 2012 doesn't launch

a file is missing from the game.  When  EA updated the files on NFS Most Wanted, a file was missing.   This is verified by files in the other NFS games (which I did not update).   Please have them check the files in the game to make sure they are all there.  Will not post the file because I was told that posting files will get a person banned and I do not want to be banned. 

Go to Steam discussions for this game and there is a thread that  says how to fix the issue. 

This post appears to have been made before the update, so they wouldn't have been missing the file yet, and the EA response likely would have worked. But I suppose since people are checking this thread for a solution since the update, here's a guide that tells you how to fix the missing files (which is the same as the Steam discussion you mentioned).

Also since you mentioned it, updating your other EA games/NFS games should be fine, as far as I know MW is the only one with issues
