Re: NFS: no limits stuck on loading screen

Update: Tried opening the game with no internet connection, no luck. tried again with internet connection, does the "downloading some content" again with stuck loading logo, Tried to re-open the game and now it says that I have to update the game because uploaded save is from a newer version(wth?). Re-opened again and now I'm back to zero. My save got lost. This is the third time I lost my save. After putting a lot of time playing the game(was already rank 35), it just made an insult to me by wasting that progress.

Got the same problem. Opened the game, somehow it wanted to download some more content but it seems to be stuck(loading icon is not even moving) so I had to force quit the app. When I reopened the game, it's now stuck on the initial loading screen. Game is too fragile in terms of connectivity, I lost my save TWICE and might have lost it again after this. Not everybody has a strong consistent Internet EA.

@Slch1998 I'm running No Limits on my iPod Touch on iOS 9.1 and I can run it just fine. When I launch No Limits on my iPod Touch, it works fine.

Have you tried waiting for 5 minutes at least for the game to load all of its features?

@vicdp117 Force closing No Limits while the "Downloading some more content" screen is shown will corrupt the game data. You were supposed to let your mobile device download "some more content".

Also, No Limits is an online-only game. Players will have to be connected to the internet to play No Limits. That means No Limits can't be played in places where there's no internet (like on a bus).

what do you mean "corrupted data", if the progress lost we can download it back from cloud save but the cloud save didn't give my progress back

@fe17li8 You will have to start over in No Limits again since your Game Center or Google Plus failed to recover your game data.

Don't count on Firemonkeys to help you out in any way. They could care less about your game data.

What I mean by "corrupted data" is errors in data when it is being processed which has unintended changes to it.

For those who lost their data, do not play through the very first race yet. Try logging out of your Game Center/ Google Play account, restart the game and then logging back in again. It may take a few tries but I was able to recover my save that way. As long as you haven't played through the first race, It seems like the game doesn't automatically overwrite your old save yet.

Don't know if this is too late for some of you guys, but if you are an android user, try clearing need for speed nl's cache. go to settings, apps, need for speed nl, scroll down to cache, and click clear cache. worked for me. Hope this helped!

Clearing the cache didn't work for me, I tried it three times, first it worked. But the second and third time, I lost my save game and had to play again from the beginning. In my case, the cache that I cleared was always above 100 MB. I already lost the Snoop Dog's Dodge, didn't want to lose the Razor BMW again.
I even tried waiting for 2 hours once, but it just stuck at the loading screen.
So everytime I stuck on opening screen after downloading contents, I'll just wait a couple of days before I open the game again, and it will run fine. Why?
Funny that I encounter this problem only on my android handphone. The games run smoothly on my ipad 3, never had problems like this.

For those who have this problem on their android devices, this worked for me 🙂

    Adjust Google Settings

      1. Visit https://www.google.com on your computer, then sign in to your account.
      2. Click this URL: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
      3. You should see Apps connected to your account
      4. Find Need for Speed No Limits and remove it

I have the same issue with my NFS NL , as soon as i open the game, it remain stuck on the loading title . But the game only does this to my google play account . If I enter a different google account the game will start and work just fine. I tried uninstalling it and the problem is still the same . What may be the cause of all this ? I want my account back, I have level 66 and I've been working very hard to achieve this progress .  Anybody has any idea how to get back in the game ?

this worked for me too, more then this, i reinstalled the game

    1. uninstall the game

    2. install the game

    3. Removed permission for Need for Speed No Limit here: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

    4. I can access the game and no data was lost

  • @vicdp117Just use mobile data instead of wifi. Maybe God will help you out here this time.

Sorry but a bit of change. You have to switch networks(even wifi would work) every time you play. You need to have 2 networks or being fast as this game to restart network before it detects your network is down.
