- @BVBgamer88 No,NFS2022 is a single entry with no sideline cousin game(like MW510 or CarbonOTC) Also bad news from Jeff Grubb(the insider leaked HP2010 HD before reveal) stated NFS2022 will be delayed by a month.So maybe we will see a reveal in late September with a December release date.Since the game is still a worse version of MW2012 with cartoon style,don't have high hope for this delayed work.
- @GK3512 Ah i see if what you are saying is true NFS is screwed as series, unless EA lets Codemasters give a try on making NFS,mayby they can try bring back the Need for Speed we all know from the 90s. I know its probaly wishful thoughts, but a man can dream.
- @BVBgamer88 EA refuse to bring back 90s style since they are still dreaming about recreate sales legend like mid 2000s games.Maybe we wont ever see a new game in such style until EA is running out of ideas.
- @GK3512 I will say they are allready running out of ideas, just look at the latest games they are all similar in many ways. The story plot in Payback and Heat is all about ,either beating the corrupt casino or corrupt cops.
2015 was more back too Underground style just with cops, honestly i think EA have nothing too lose try bringing NFS back too is orginal roots. - NFS2022 is a cartoon edition MW2012(Not a bad game just not NFS but Burnout).I think if this game with all the delays and help from other teams fails in the end we may see NFS end with this entry.However if the fail really lead to shut down of NFS at least we won't see more rubbish FF copycat pretending it stucks in the 2000s.
- @GK3512 According to the new leaks, the audience of nfs2022 seems to be children. I want to know what happened. They are even unwilling to publish the subtitle. If it is released at the end of this year, I feel that there is too little publicity time. I feel that Christmas is a better time to sell. At least it will not lead to a discount just after the game is released
- @DecreeNo9 September reveal with December release is the current news.If this is true NFS2022 will be the most delayed NFS in the history(if more delay to come then it's still the most delayed NFS).However considering it is still close to MW2012 with strong female and cartoon graphic all those rubbish.I highly doubt it will sell well.Target is to get new generation fans into the series.Maybe that's why cartoon graphic and simple gameplay are chosen(No Drift or Drag race just like Classic Era NFS/HP2010 or Rivals)
- @DecreeNo9 Judging by current low expectation and recent NFS entries sales performance it may fail again with little to no update at all.

@DecreeNo9I have too disagree atleast Rivals was trying too return back too the series orginal roots from the 90s, yes the game itself was full of buggs and gliches. But it succeeded too capture the classic police ,chase magic from Hot Pursuit and High Stakes.
After the FF era started i personally think everything with Need for Speed has been utter complete garbage, then i mean police chases the story etc.
EA made the mistake when they decided too ditch cannonball(stock exotic supercars in epic scenary on epic tracks, it should be possible keeping both genre if you ask me.- @BVBgamer88 For 2022, I only hope that the quality of the game can be very good, but for future works, I hope to pay attention to the plot and illegal car racing. I don't like billboards and other collection items. I think these things are useless
- @DecreeNo9 Billboards was introduced through Burnout Paradise, that is why we also saw it in Most Wanted 12, personally i think the next game will be *. Atleast if the rumors is correct that it will be cartoonish, the series has been a parodythe last 7 years if you ask me. Better too let the series die rather then let it contuning this identety crisis.
- @DecreeNo9 Rivals was buggy 2015 was buggy due to online only Payback was greedy Heat was unfinished so better than these games isn't a high standard
- @DecreeNo9 I highly doubt plot/story will be nice since MW2/MW2012 already showed what rushed work can be without a story(MW2 original version had a alter universe story continuation to MW2005)
- @BVBgamer88 Actually EA is always trying to use parody of mid 2000s golden era games to chase profit but every single entry with this target failed awfully.But MW2012 was roasted badly by fans back in the day (but had great media reception) So maybe we will see history repeats itself after a decade.
- @BVBgamer88 According to the information leaked previously, 2022 is targeted at children, which seems to say: cultivate a new generation of NFS fans and hope that the old NFS can pay for it. There is not much news about cartoon content at present. I don't know the proportion of realism and cartoon. Can Criterion achieve a good balance
- @GEARKNOBS3512 I feel very bad about NFS stories in recent years. I think NFS needs a very good story to attract players. I think it may be 2024, which is also the 30th anniversary of NFS
- @GEARKNOBS3512 NFS2022 LOGO has been leaked.NFS Unbound is the title in the logo.Huge NFS in white uppercase letters with UNBOUND in green uppercase graffiti style letters.So after HEAT NFS2022 is the next NFS to get the title leaked pre-reveal

- @GEARKNOBS3512 New leaks from Japanese Retailer show cover and screenshot of NFS Unbound/2022.It will have cartoon style smoke and stripes come out of cars.It will have over the top custom.It will have police chase.It will have cartoon style characters.According to Grubb it will also have strong female character.So we may end up with a game combined MW2012 gameplay/cartoon art style/UG setting and current so-called car culture content.
- @GEARKNOBS3512 The new leak also kinda confirms the footage with 991-2 GT2 RS from 2020 is real.Which means the game will kinda be a cartoon custom style MW2012 again.Which isn't too bad since MW2012 is a decade old this year.But it's still sad to see NFS stuck in the chase of mid 2000s street style success and fail again and again in the end.

But its obvious that they are targetting next generation gen Z, so im not surprised that this years game are following in same footsteeps as 2015 Payback and Heat. Anyway i think its sad that its 9 years since we could play as both cop and racer,i hate that we are locked as racer only. - @BVBgamer88 After 12 years there's still no new NFS has better commercial performance than HP2010.Maybe EA will finally learn the street chav fever is gone after NFS2022 fails again.Drift Missile/Junkyard Wreck style custom is a new to the series addition but I doubt it will be a good one.
