As for the de-authorisation tool that's got a problem. Just had Customer Support reset the limit on installations. Had a problem with sounds not playing for certain cars, so was going to do a clean install to see if it fixed it, so uninstalled and de-authorised (which stated 4 out of 5 installations remaining before clicking on de-authorise). Now it's gone and had a hissy fit and thinks I've hit the limit for installations again.
It's getting silly now.
Also as there is no Shift 2 Unleashed section, I'll add the issue here. Major sound bug with certain cars not having engine sounds in certain views. Affects the McLaren F1 in particular when raced in behind the car view. Other cars suffer from partially missing sounds like the Pagani Zonda R has a missing mid range sounds from behind the car view again. Couldn't solve issue since release, until I re-installed Windows under the English UK region instead of the the English Australia region. Then all worked fine for a few months until it randomly broke again. This has been an issue for ALL of my friends who play in the Australia region.
