You got beat most likely from cheaters and this has been a problem with the NFS Franchise for many years with all their NFS online games.
If it's not cheaters then its some super rubberbanding withing the game.
I'm suspect that it's the former things I just mentioned why your Hyper Cars lost to a Beetle.
