Payback has a slightly different mood and setting than 2015. The soundtrack is adapting to the more gritty / action-based storyline, open-road locations, offroading, daylight, etc.

...Whereas 2015 had a very fitting soundtrack for an always-night street racing scene located almost exclusively in an urban city.
