I called Microsoft support and they led me through a series of steps to get this fixed (including turning off, waiting, deleting the account and so on) - none of that helped. Achievements for other games unlock without any delay or problem. I also tried starting Rivals with my secondary account and had no issues unlocking the initial couple of achievements there, for some reason it's my main account that has this issue.
Tom, tonight I will do what you are suggesting and will post the results here. Should I delete the gamesave again and start from scratch, attempting to unlock the achievements that glitched out or should I try unlocking the new ones?

Thanks for updating me.
First I would like you to try to get new achievements as it would be a waste to delete progress if the issue isn't solved afterwards. However, you could always back up your data and still delete it.
Please let me know once you've tried my suggestions.. 🙂
Achievements for other games are unlocking just fine for me as well. The 'Bust 50' is the one I am nearest to, so without a lot more playtime on this game I don't know if other achievements are similarly locked. Following your instructions for rebooting the router, etc seems like the wrong cause/effect for this particular issue.
You are the man, man 🙂 Turned every network device in my house for 5 minutes and restarted the game from scratch and lo and behold - I was able to get 2 achievements I couldn't previously. Hopefully it's not going to glitch again, because I've already restarted this game 4 times and it's impossible to back up the gamesaves with Xbox one.

Glad to hear that it worked!
Achievements are registered on the server side of the platform you play on. This could be either xbox or playstation. I'm afraid that for that reason I won't have the ability to unlock them for you achievements for you. As my last advise, it might help you to go over the steps in our connection troubleshooting article.
@Straatford87 Well, I tried your suggestion about disconnecting power to both the router and console for several minutes and then restarting, but the achievement is not triggering.
I have a similar issue w/Battlefield Hardline where the achievement for completing chapter 3 of the campaign won't register either. However the tile for this one actually says "Done! Unlocking" for about 3 weeks now. I have successfully unlocked other achievements in BFH since then.
The "Bust 50" for NFS Rivals does not indicate I have unlocked it, but it is just my strong suspicion that I have met the requirements for this one, so I guess I'd call these 2 different issues. Maybe? In any case, things are unchanged for me.
And finally to remind, I am unlocking achievements in other games just fine (to name one, Madden 16), and so it would seem my NAT settings are OK. Have been for the last 9 years or so.

Thanks for the detailed response. My personal experience with achievements not unlocking (in several games, both EA and non-EA) was that it was caused by connection issues at unfortunate moments.
Sometimes power cycling the console and router works but sadly in your case it failed the get them to pop up afterwards. If this is the case then I'm afraid that at the moment I don't have further option to get you the achievements. This is mostly related to achievements being registered server side (depending on the platform) and having no tools to grant achievements.
I will have this looked at by our teams to see if this is something we will be able to assist with in the future but for now I'm afraid my hands are tied. Thanks again for reporting this though, and I hope you will have a good weekend.
