It's not clear what you mean. Are you trying to register NFS Carbon with Origin? If so, I don't think that is possible. Origin currently only goes back to Undercover. There was an Origin version of ProStreet for a while, but it's been removed from the Origin list of games (although if a player already has it in their library, it should work).

If you are trying to register the game with the old EA account server, (account dot ea dot com), which was used to register games released before 2008, this is no longer possible because that server was shut down, and the old accounts were not migrated to the EA Store, which was for games released in 2008 or later. Some (most?) of the EA Store games were migrated to Origin, but additional content versions such as Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition were removed (in this case because EA shut off the service used to unlock the additional content).

I'm still able to login to the Carbon online server with an old account. It's not clear if players that manage to find new EA DVD copies of NFS Carbon are able to create a new Carbon account. Also some "new" versions are third party versions being distributed by companies like Cosmi, which don't have cd-keys and therefore can't be used for online play.

Are you trying to register NFS Carbon or create a new account. My prior posts were about registering Carbon, not creating a new account. Attached is what the old account dot ea dot com game registration screen looked like. I X'ed out the install keys. Back when the old account server was running, if a player forgot their install key, they could get it from their old ea account if they had registered their game. 

I'm not sure what server is used for creating a new online account for Carbon. Carbon's online server is still running, but I don't if players are still able to create new accounts for Carbon, if somehow a player manages to get a new copy of NFS Carbon.
