Release Date Check Failed

Hi,

       I installed NFS The Run, and when I open the game app, there is a release date check attempt, but it fails. What can I do about this?

    @Anik_Quantum

    Please go into the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Need for Speed The Run\__Installer and right-click the Touchup.exe file and then run it as administrator.

    Note: make sure that you've completely uninstalled the game first before doing the installation via a download. If the issue persists, then try clearing the Origin Cache - be sure to also run Origin as administrator.

     I redeemed the product code and tried to install the game and "EA Installer Touchup setup has stopped working." This has happened before but I forgot to mention this. ☹️

    I followed all the steps except for downloading NFS The run, because I actually bought the disc, didn't buy from Origin itself. So I tried to install it anyway, but didn't work. ☹️

    @Anik_Quantum

    The whole idea here is that you are trying to download and install the game via Origin rather than installing via your disc.

    I am sorry but it still didn't work. I followed every steps carefully this time. "EA Touchup installer failed" message comes after download is completed.

    Hi, the installation was completed somehow this time. I don't know how lol. I uninstalled Origin and installed it again, and then just downloaded the game. Thank you Tom and Barry, I really appreciate your help brothers. 🙂 I thought I could accept both of your solutions (clicking on button), but only one worked. ☹️
