@Synapt Old copy of game from 2004 wont have problem running on current system.Re-Release isnt possible since it requires license to cars in the original games again. The reason Paradise was HD and re-release was because Burnout used MFG(Made For Game) cars in the past,so even 10 years later these games can be re-released as a HD version.NFS used licensed cars which means they need car maker's license to add cars back if they re-release a game.Toyota isn't clear about the end of license prohibition(Yes Forza has Toyota returned now but NFS hasn't)So Blackbox games with Toyotas are not possible for re-release now

I think my confusion is along the lines of "re-release" titling. Did they only license the original rights for a limited amount of time to where they literally had to discontinue original retail sales?
- 6 years ago@Synapt All license deal are made to be valid for a limited time(few years)After part of license expires(such as music/cars) dev has to either drop the game or drop the music/cars.Music license is kinda easier to get than that of cars.Other than NFS,games like GTA4 are gone because of music licenses.Either wait for a re-release with full content like Paradise HD or just pirate the old version
