Ugh, why does everybody want the characters from Payback to return? They're awful. Tyler is just a Paul Walker knock-off that was mathematically perfected to be as dull as possible, Jess's entire character design pretty much screams "I was created by a feminist!" and Mac... well Mac is ok but that's only in contrast with the other two. The story is just a mixed bag of unnecessary drama, illogical behavior and cartoony villains.

I am not saying i like the characters, i am just saying that it would logically to make it a sequel

Why?

I can agree, there was pieces of the story in payback that was left hanging so it could work. I had said in another thread that continuing this story line could work . I mean it works for Fast and Furious so it could work for Payback in theory right. My 2 cents.

i absolutely don't get what should be so great about a remaster, in comaprison to burnout paradise which got a remaster recently (i played that game very much for years back then) the only thing which i could like about it is the fact that it (on PC) has now that one big DLC which only consoles had back then, other than that i don't getthat either.
it's almost the exact same thing, well yeah graphics might look a bit better but paying another XX bucks for only that? if i can play the old one which i already own for free?
if you guys love MW so much then go and play it you don't need a remaster for that, hell you even got a bazillion mods for it which the new one may not have ( i guess because of incompatibility maybe)
so if at all they should do a new MW like game, but by looking on other games like forza more people tend to like more realistic and less arcade like games, on the other hand it could be refreshing for have a game like this again after that time and while every other game is more realistic, i'm also really interested on how well a game like this would really be while so so many want those games back idk if theres even a chance of satisfy what they want on how high they hype those games.

Yeah Paradise Remastered is essentially just a $40 texture pack.
"Rachel in NFSU2 was old enough to be my mom..."
I know right?! Damn she was fine...
"Mia from Most Wanted looked like a hooker."
You're saying that like it's a bad thing.
"Jess has the most personality of any of them, and I would definitely want her on my team and as a friend."
She has too much personality. It would be great if she could shut up for two seconds while I'm playing tag with the tax payer's money. "What are you gonna do, arrest me?" gee you think?
"I agree the story is cheesy. But how is it any different that Fast 'n' Furious? Who cares? It moves the progression along and gives us some cool cutscenes. I admit, I was put off by the initial reveal trailer for Payback, but now that I'm into it, I think it's great. I mean, if you didn't like the whole Mustang chase, Jess blasting out of the truck with the Regera, then I can't help you..."
I think Fast & Furious is garbage so you're not getting anywhere with that point :P
The story being cheesy isn't the issue, it's the fact that it tries to sells itself as a serious plot but keeps dishing out cartoon level action and behavior every two seconds. The Regera scene is a good example, what was that semi trailer made of, paper? How does that truck move so fast? How did the Regera gain enough speed to crash through the doors? Why didn't the House have anyone inside guarding it? Then again, why did they leave gasoline in the tank? How come the car was undamaged after crashing through the doors? Why didn't they have a remote killswitch inside the car? Looney Tunes makes more sense than this.
That pretty much proves my point.
This is Jayden Rossi, the face model for Sara Ryder:
And this is her in-game model:
Beats me. The only good thing about NFS World was the map.
