Restricted to 800x600 after first session

If I raise my game display resolution beyond 800x600 NFS: Hot pursuit crashes. It worked fine @ 1920x1080 144Hz for the first session of play.

I figured it out. My firewall was blocking the registration of the game that links it to my Origin account halfway & that initiated (I presume) a software protection measure that nerfed the settings to 800x600 after one gaming session.

That's good to know. Actually I did not know a firewall or anti-virus could prevent someone from playing in a different resolution.
