Rubber Banding
This is directed at EA technical staff! The"rubber banding" you've included in Need For Speed 2015 is garbage. Please patch in an option to shut it off like you've done in so many previous NFS titles....

The ai racers act like the police should and the police act like the ai racers should.
I recon when they were building the game some bright spark programmer connected the games ai racers to the police ai by mistake and visa versa. Now the police run away from you and your fellow ai racers attack you without mercy during races, or they just slam into you while you are racing someone else. They make better police than the police do.
lol, You know i never thought of it that way but it does make sense. I find sitting still in a parking lot far off the road away from the AI a safe way to avoid the stress :P
I wonder if EA have thought of this ?
I hear in payback there will be no free roaming police because of the problems getting cops to chase us. Just put the ai racers in cop cars they chase us automatically to the death without mercy, and put the cops in racers cars because they are pussys compared to Spike,
The best minds at EA didn't see this one, it took a balding Ramones fan with no girlfriend and no job to see it.I hear you but I am one those guys who is undecided on this cops in payback issue. Not having them in my way is what i would like. I mean hear me out , for me It stems form being in a race in NFS 2016 and then wanting to restart and I cant because I got thees annoying cops chasing me and I can not do anything else until I out run them. One could say im being impatient but i am already angry I got blind sided by a AI car for the 100th time so i just want to restart with out a 2 minute PITA chase from the cops. At the same time though I can understand were others are coming from as well so its going to be next to impossible to bring a game to the table that please us all 100%. I mean we all do not like the same color right so.😃

I hate it too after a mission faliure if you can't get rid of the cops that are in the mission, or free roaming cops that home in on you, restart the mission and try again is all you want.50-50 for cops then.I agree with your point, but I think free roaming cops give depth to the game, sort of side missions when you are bored, attack them etc.
