Seeking Official Response from EA/Ghost re: Nitrous (NOS) Exploit
I am desperately seeking an official response or statement from anyone with ties/knowledge/authority that was involved in the development of NFS Payback. My friends and I receive a ridiculous amount of hate and harassment for using it, when we felt we needed to learn to be able to compete with everyone else who is doing it. I can only speak for XBOX but it becomes more widely used as time goes by. I argue constantly that if the game developers didn't see it as something they need to patch/fix since the games release then perhaps it should be considered more of a "feature" instead of a cheat. One could argue it's similar to micro drifting which is also controller manipulation resulting in faster nos refill. The exploit technique is a little more difficult to master but the idea is the same. Different ways to press controller buttons to refill nos faster... but they both do the same thing. I'd like something legitimate from the developers on how they see the whole thing. Something official. Below is a video I personally made of performing this technique including what my hands look like on the control while doing it.
I'd love to be able to have something from the company itself to clarify their stance on this issue.
