Thanks !, mine isn't as complex / detailed in wraps as yours or the others are as they are mostly solid colors and all but that flame one did take a bit of time . As well even though that SS stripe for the Camaro looks basic it was a pain to get the wraps pieces to line up perfectly. Ever notice that being super picky ends up taking one a lot longer to " get it right " lol. 😃 There is alway that one piece missing in the decals that would make things alot easier. The flames could have a bit more to pick from IMHO. I was doing the wrap and thinking " If only they had done this shape of flame it would be so much better "
- 8 years agoLatest from me... I was going to try something modern and different but just decided to do another more classic look on the Volvo Amazon. It's still on a drift chassis, wide body fenders etc. Tried to do more nice details, body/work access panels on the rear quarters. Same on the hood and the trunk lid. Drilled holes for the front bumper to match the rear, drivers safety net on the window. Vents on the tops of the front fenders and rears behind the wheel arch. Realised the Watanabes come in 2 widths so wider on the rears. Too much time on my hands obviously! Haha! Pics....

No way my friend , its never just a "to much time on you hands" thing. Its a passion for cars and customizing. I once said in another post here that even though to some " its just a game" it isnt so with others like ourselves. I can spend hours just building cars then free roaming the map. With the cars looking better and better it allows us to have our dream garage but in virtual world. Many of us cant afford these rides for real so here we are spending a lot of time doing in game with the next best thing.
Yes i know right. Many of the cars don't except a straight line , Camaro was the same deal. the SS stripe is like 30 pieces lol . I had to piece the stripe together in order to get the decal to follow the line of the front perfectly. The flame job was stretch paste , stretch paste and repeat a zillion time for sure lol .
- 8 years agoThat's completely true. That's the only reason I bring up glitches and bugs is to try and get the experience to be as close to life as possible. I know my bank account will never stretch to the real thing haha. It's car fantasy and I want that to be as close as possible to the real thing, certainly in terms of customisation. I genuinely spend way more time in the garage than driving. Slowly working through the game though.
If I didn't have an actual job I would do a lot more builds! It's a shame we have to earn a living haha. 🙂 - 8 years ago
And there are mine 🙂

Hear that my friend. I am the same way. The lack of rake and tire width drive me bananas because it just doesn't look real with a large gap in the fender wells. Plus i wish so much that they would make it so we could adjust tire thickness itself. I don't use some rims because the front tires are way to wide looking and just ruin the immersion for me. So i do agree that some stuff sure would be really great if they got fixed.
LOL , i know right, these days losing ones self into a world of fantasy with todays games is a better deal then dealing with real life many times. Here is to living in the virtual world :eahigh_file:
Yes sir, i remember your wraps as they have a massive amount of time and skill into them. Be proud of your work my friend , I would be as they are amazing stuff !

Thanks for those kind words 🙂
By the way, don't hesitate to request some wraps (if you're on PC), I will work on a "Space Invaders style" wrap tomorrow, I just don't know on which car I'll do it atm :D
EDIT; Well, I failed this wrap :D
