shift 2 unleashed ps3 constant lagging

I started Need For Speed Shift 2 unleashed ps3 and it lags so bad that i am only moving about 4 frames every few seconds and cant play coould anyone help me please?

I just purchased shift 2 and I was crazy for it but the lag killed the game for me
