Smash & Grab event instability (PS3)

The Smash & Grab event “Ship to Shore” ALWAYS locks my console up, I was driving the Shelby GT500 and it frooze 7 times in a row everytime I came close to the final 10 seconds. A similar thing happen...

I'm sharing the same problem, only on the airport smash and grab instead. it repeatedly freezes on 00.00.02 time left in the Aston Martin V12 Vantage. it's really frustrating...does anybody have a solution?
