Snapshot Causing Menu Navigation Issues with Manual Gearbox Preset 2

I recently bought the game and, being a bit different functionally from previous entries in the series, I had to change some of the settings to make the game feel comfortable for my playstyle. One major issue I've encountered is the fact that, after selecting Manual Transmission and selecting Control Preset 2 (using the right analog stick to gear up and down), snapshot being bound to right on the D-pad is never disabled. This means that anytime I'm navigating a menu etc. the game is taking dozens of screenshots simply due to me moving right through a menu. I now have several screenshots of every option available in the garage. This issue is also simply rather annoying as it slows the game a little and makes an obnoxious flash and camera clicking literally every time I I scroll right. Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else encountered the same problem? Thank you in advance for any information.
