Speedlists Matchmaking

What is wrong with the speedlists matchmaking? In the official article in the official NFS EA site clearly mentioned that matchmaking will be done based on the performance level of my selected cars in the loadout (previously known as Tiers). For ranked, there will be an additional criteria which is my rank. I will be ranked with other players with more or less the same rank. Now here is the issue:

1. Although, the rank based matchmaking works, but it is not always accurate. Sometimes i get matched with people of rank lower than me or sometimes unranked. Here i am sitting at Sunday Driver 2.

2. The worse one is the matchmaking based on car performance level. That never works. Today i tested it in a different way. I chose two strictly restricted 299 cars, Dodge challenger and the Mercedes AMG (the hatchback). Both were maxed out at 299. They couldn't be upgraded beyond that. I went to ranked mode and entered a lobby. It was empty, after a while two people joined. Guess what, they had Regeras. Now how on earth will i be able to win against regeras with a dodge challenger? Do i "git gud"? No I have to leave the speedlist, choose a 399 super car, hyper car or god knows what out of this world car and then i will have a chance. Then why even have the 299 cars, and whats the significance of the restriction, if I always have to stick to four or five hypercars? You want the player to have a fair challenge then give fair opponents. It's not my fault if I am getting matched with regeras. That's the game's job to do it fair. Please fix this. Speedlists become very boring after a point coz i cant see any car beyond a regera, huyara or a 918 spyder. So may other cars useless, all the 299 cars useless. You are forcing me to use certain cars. There is no freedom whatsoever. PLEASE FIX THIS!!
