Actually the cloud causes more problems than it prevents. Try doing a little research and you will find thousands of topics where EA tech support suggested disabling the cloud for many reasons including starting a game over like New. The only things that can't be reset are things Autolog keeps track of such as race times, jump distances, speed cameras and such. As I stated, the clouds only real purpose is to allow you to pick up where you left off in a game on a different computer. If you only use one computer, it really is useless.
You don't need to turn off the cloud saving, by deleting the locally stored files Origin will detect a mismatch in the save files and ask you what you want to do. If you want to start over again, simply use the local one instead of the cloud saved one. Once you've exited the game your cloud save will be overwritten with your current progress where you started all over again from the start.
- ApprovedIt worked just fine. Made a file to store the save file from rivals. Stopped the cloud funtion from origin. Only bad thing, have to see the complete intro from nfs rivals again which was clearly made for people up to 3 years old. Thank you all very much.
