T500rs doesnt work

i am not able to get my Thrustmaster T500rs to work, it seems like the game is not aware of the wheel being connected (while it works with other games and the drivers are up to date) . Also everytime i open the menu it shows that a XBox controller is connected, but i dont even have one, and with custom mapping it doesnt not recognise any imput from the wheel. I have been trying to get it to work now for hours, but i just can't find a solution. PLEASE HELP.

    the last thing i tried was changing my keyboard and mouse, and i found out that the problem was my roccat tyon mouse. it probably is driver related, but at least my wheel is working nmow, yay

    Thanks for the reply, but i have already tried those and unfortunatly they didnt help ☹️

    Ya, for some strange reason the game refuses to let me use my Thrustmaster TX if the shifter is plugged in (Would love to use sequential shifting, at least... Paddles are better for E-Brake and Nos imo) But as soon as I unplug it from my pc, problem solved... :\

    That is because the game only supports one 'controller' since the shifter is a add on to the wheel it recognises it as a second one and that is why it will not work.
